• The new GRANDIS 450 titanium drivers feature an advanced "cup face technology eliminating any welding on the face area. By moving the weld behind the hitting face, the C.O.R. is higher around the perimeter for greater distance even on off-center shots.
• GRANDIS titanium drivers feature a SP700 alpha-beta titanium face; a high-grade beta titanium that was both cold forged and heat treated. The heat treatment process increases the material's strength properties allowing a larger and thinner face, while maintaining strength and spring-effect characteristics.

They are Computer modeled heads featuring the latest in face rebound technology. The faces are designed to spring back, as many popular heads are, BUT, these heads have the added benefit of being able to offer maximum spring effect for any swing speed. typically, maximum spring back only occurs on hard hits...leaving out the Senior and Lady Flex candidates.

This head maintains a high C.O.R. (coefficient of restitution) at any impact velocity. Hence the name - Tornado. The face is Micro Forged Stainless Steel with a special bracing structure behind the face. It is similar to the bracing in a ship's hull: small hyperbolic ribs that provide rigidity upon strong impact but allow medium and softer impacts to compress and expand. The result is distance, and plenty of it!
